Femme Music is an independent record label and platform championing the sound, stories and creativity of women across India. We sign, release, tour and mentor, and we do it on our own terms, across three sub-labels built for three different worlds of sound. For too long, women in Indian music have been the feature, not the headline. Femme Music exists to change the byline.

We started in 2025 with a stubborn idea: that the next decade of Indian music would be shaped by women, and that they deserved infrastructure built for them. A real label with A&R, distribution, live bookings and a community that has each other’s backs.

WHAT WE DO

A&R

We find women making something true and back them early before the algorithm does. Scouting across cities, campuses and bedroom studios.

RELEASING

Studio time, mastering, artwork, distribution and a real marketing push. Singles to albums, vinyl to streaming released the way the artist wants.

LIVE

Showcases, club nights and the India's Femme Power tour. We put our artists on stages across the country and bring the audience with them.

MENTORSHIP

Guidance, honest feedback, and a supportive community where artists can learn, ask questions, and grow together. We believe knowledge should be shared, not gate kept.

Started by Bengaluru-based musician, music producer and audio engineer,
Sanoli Chowdhury and London-based music industry veteran Vinod Gadher,
who has also been Sanoli’s manager, Femme Music aims to create an
ecosystem where female voices lead, own their narratives and build
sustainable careers both nationally and globally..
